On the last day of Term 3,  the St Michael's Netball team participated in the Mary Mill's Carnival.

With a huge pool of 32 teams from Primary schools across our region, our girls were given a wonderful opportunity to play in a highly skilled, competitive and fast paced tournament. Our girls sure showed up with grit, determination and skill.  These girls represented St Michael's with outstanding sportsmanship.

Placed in the 'A' pool, our girls had their work cut out for them.  With all our team members except one being new to netball, the girls admirably committed themselves to training and taking on a new sport. At the carnival, our girls had 2 tough loses, a couple of close games and pulled off 2 very convincing wins.

A big thank you to the wonderful parents who assisted with scoring and supporting our girls on the day.  I am one very proud PE teacher and coach.
