Cairns Festival and Laservision are excited to invite all young artists to participate in a special interactive colouring-in competition, celebrating the vibrant marine life of the Great Barrier Reef!

This is a fantastic opportunity for youth to showcase their creativity by drawing one of the attached sea creature templates, including sea turtles, manta rays, reef crabs, starfish, and more.

Selected artworks will be featured in a stunning projection mapping installation at the Cairns Esplanade Lagoon during Cairns Festival 2025 — turning your drawing into a magical public light display!

How to enter:

• Choose one sea creature to bring to life with your imagination
• Use any colouring medium you like (crayons, pencils, texta, paints, etc.)
• One drawing per person
• Include your name, age & school/community on your artwork
