CLASS NEWS & AWARDS

Prep A

Prep are smashing their spelling words and learning how to play dominoes!
Congratulations to all our clever learners—keep up the fantastic work!

Class 1A

Thank you to Year 1 family members who were able to attend the Year 1 Liturgy and Assembly Prayer. 1A has had a busy week demonstrating learning in most subject areas. We are looking forward to a change of scenery for the Teddy Bear's Picnic and Junior Sports Carnival.

Class 2A

Year 2A have been exploring the features of information texts. They are now using Book Creator to turn their writing into engaging multimodal texts which includes images, audio and text to present their learning.

Class 3A

Year 3A students thrive in mathematics, especially when engaging with hands-on manipulatives. The classroom buzzed with excitement as students explored and collaborated using counters, blocks, play dough and other interactive resources

Class 4A

In 4A, students have been busy crafting their own story endings as part of our narrative writing unit. They explored how to develop characters and use descriptive language to engage the reader. We have also focused on revising and editing to strengthen their writing. We are proud of the imaginative and thoughtful stories students have created, and these will soon be on display in the library for families and peers to enjoy.

Class 5A

Term 2 is tracking really well in Year 5. The students have been putting in solid effort across the board. Well done to 5A for their outstanding performance at the sports carnival—they gave it their all and showed great team spirit. Looking forward to finishing the term strong!

Class 6A

Last week, the Year 6 students proved themselves worthy role models for our school as they led the way during our 2025 Athletics Carnival during Thursday and Friday. These are a long two days with many things happening and the Year 6 students, particularly the House Captains (seen in the photos below), stepped up to guide, support, organise and inspire their peers. Never did I have to ask or instruct them to assist. They were simply there, on the job and showed great initiative. Most importantly, they never ‘dropped the ball’, fulfilling their tasks to the very end of the carnival with help packing up. Congratulations Year 6. Keep it up.
