A prayer for Pope Francis

Heavenly Father,

With heavy hearts, we come before You to remember and honor Pope Francis, who has returned to Your loving embrace. We thank You for his life, his leadership, and his unwavering dedication to the Church and its people.

Lord, we ask that You grant him eternal rest and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul find peace in Your presence, and may his legacy of compassion, humility, and service continue to inspire us all.

We pray for the Church during this time of mourning. Comfort those who grieve his loss and guide the leaders who will carry on his mission. Help us to remain united in faith and love, following the example Pope Francis set for us.

As we reflect on his teachings and his commitment to the Gospel, may we be strengthened in our own faith journeys. Let us honor his memory by living out the values he cherished: love for the poor, care for creation, and a deep commitment to justice and peace.

In Your mercy, hear our prayer and grant us the grace to continue the work Pope Francis began, always striving to build a world that reflects Your love and goodness.
