Class News & Awards

Prep A

We have had so many happy new faces arriving to school his week!
Prep A have been learning about whole body listening during mat time, and getting to know how BIG school works. I have been so proud of how well everyone is settling in.

Class 1A

1A students did a wonderful job starting to adapt to their new year level, classroom, teacher, classmates and the wet weather which came with it. It will be lovely to see how we grow together over the coming weeks.

Class 2A

We have had a wonderful start to the year in 2A!

Our class has settled in well, with students spending time getting to know each other and their new classroom. We have also started exploring our exciting new topics for this term and working together with kindness and respect.
We are looking forward to a fun year of learning ahead.

Class 3A

After a long holiday, the 3A students resumed their school routine like champs, ready to tackle new challenges. Their impressive comeback not only showcased their resilience but also set a vibrant tone for the rest of the term.

Class 4A

In 4B this term we are reading and analysing the quest novel Rowan of Rin. Students are learning to understand and explain how language features, images and vocabulary are used by authors to engage the interest of the audience.

Class 5A

The year has started smoothly and the students are adapting to the new expectations and demands of Year 5. The students have shown excellent attitudes from Day 1 and this is expected to develop as we progress through the year. Year 5 as a cohort have shown their maturity around wet play as the weather continues which has been wonderful to see so early in the year.

Class 6A

2025, let’s go! The school year has begun with the Year 6 students proudly displaying their new, self-designed senior shirts. Year 6A students welcomed new St Michael student Rikarli to the team and celebrated a couple of early birthdays in the first week and a half. As a class, we reinforced our whole school behaviour expectations and explored the range of topics we will be diving into this term. Leadership meetings have begun and assembly practice underway ready or this Friday. It’s going to be an exciting and busy 2025 for our Seniors!
